I am not familiar with Scotts Turf builder with weed control; however, these 2 products are completely different.  I know you will want to  lightly water in the Bayer Insect Granules to get them to the soil.  If that is the same premise with Scotts, then I would apply one then come behind and apply the other product.  You don’t want the 2 products in the spreader at the same time as you will not know if you are applying at the correct rate.
